TNTexplosive Sports

This web page has been set up for two reasons. At this stage it is primarily designed to provide details and results of four races organised in and around Bude by the TNT -explosive sports team. It currently only contains the results of the recent Shoreline 2000, 2002 and 2003 triathlons, but should soon provide details of the other races as well.

The second reason is to foster my own enthusiasm with the sport of triathlon. I feel a particular affinity with the Bude since it was where I got my first experience of triathlon in 2002 and I enjoyed it so much it has completely changed my life. I no longer believe that water is purely for surfing upon (or watering down whisky with) but now consider it a medium through which I must travel before I start to enjoy a weekend's race.

A further plan for this website is to write an account of my experiences working from an occasional runner and general sedentary character to (hopefully) completing an official Ironman race (planned summer 2005) and set up a forum for any other 'nutters' who might pan to do the same. watch this space.
